Orthopaedic Surgeons for a Community-Based Hospital in Southwestern Ontario

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Locum Location: 30 minutes south of London, Ontario About the Opportunity We are seeking Orthopaedic Surgeons to join a growing orthopaedic program in a thriving community hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a collaborative and innovative surgical department, with a commitment to providing comprehensive surgical care in a supportive environment. The hospital provides a wide range of surgical services, including orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, and oral maxillofacial surgery. The demand for surgical services continues to grow, with over 9,200 surgical procedures and endoscopies completed last year. Position Details We are looking for candidates with a broad community orthopaedic skill set, including but not limited to: Primary total hip and knee arthroplasty Basic community orthopaedic trauma The successful candidates will: Receive dedicated Operating Room time Have access to space in the Ambulatory Care/Fracture Clinic Collaborate with an experienced team of orthopaedic surgeons Participate in the orthopaedic on-call rotation Compensation: $320,000–$420,000/year with 1.5 OR days/week. Higher earning potential available with increased surgical volume. Candidate Requirements Certification in Orthopaedic Surgery from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (or equivalent) Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) Letters of reference required as part of the application Note: Special assistance with licensure is available for candidates with U.S., U.K., or equivalent credentials.
