EMT or Paramedic (Night Shift)

Medcor is hiring a full-time EMT or Paramedic to join our onsite occupational health clinic in Woodbridge, NJ. This is a great opportunity for an EMS professional looking to step away from the traditional ambulance or emergency response setting while continuing to use their clinical skills every day.

As an Onsite Health Technician, you’ll be the trusted healthcare resource for employees during the overnight shift. You’ll provide first aid, assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses, support employee wellness, and help manage the day-to-day operations of the onsite clinic.

You’ll work independently onsite while having the support of Medcor’s operations team and clinical resources available remotely.

What You’ll Do

Clinical Care & Injury Management

• Provide first aid, triage, assessment, and treatment for workplace injuries and illnesses.

• Evaluate injured employees and guide care using Medcor’s evidence-based treatment protocols.

• Respond to workplace medical situations and coordinate additional care when necessary.

• Perform pre-employment and post-offer screenings.

• Conduct Physical Assessment Testing (PATs).

• Assist with case management and follow-up care.

• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and OSHA-related documentation.

Clinic Operations & Employee Wellness

• Manage the daily operations of the onsite health clinic.

• Maintain clinic supplies, documentation, and compliance processes.

• Support employee health, wellness, and education initiatives.

• Provide a high level of service to employees and our client.

• Partner with onsite Safety and Human Resources teams.

• Coordinate with outside medical providers, urgent care centers, and hospitals when needed.

• Build strong working relationships with employees, client leadership, and the Medcor team.

What You’ll Need

• Current EMT or Paramedic licensure/certification applicable to the position.

• Current CPR/BLS certification.

• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and confidently manage an onsite clinic.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Comfort using computers, electronic medical records, and other workplace technology.

• Ability to lift and carry a 50-pound emergency response bag.

• A patient-first mindset and commitment to providing excellent care.

Even Better If You Have

• Occupational health or worksite clinic experience.

• Emergency medical services or emergency medicine experience.

• Experience working independently in a clinical setting.

• Familiarity with workplace injury management, OSHA documentation, or employee health programs.
