EMT, Paramedic, or LPN (Clinic)

Pay: $29.00–$33.00/hour, based on experience and licensure

Medcor is looking to hire a full-time EMT, Paramedic, or LPN to join our team as an Onsite Health Technician at our employer-based occupational health clinic in Columbus, OH.

This is a great opportunity for an EMT, Paramedic, or LPN who enjoys hands-on patient care but is looking for a more predictable Monday–Friday schedule. You’ll work directly with employees in a worksite clinic, providing first aid and injury care, supporting wellness initiatives, and helping employees stay healthy and safe at work.

What You’ll Do

Clinical Care & Injury Management

• Provide first aid, triage, assessment, and treatment for workplace injuries and illnesses.

• Evaluate injured employees and guide care using Medcor’s evidence-based Medcor Care Protocols (MCPs).

• Respond to workplace medical needs and determine appropriate next steps for care.

• Assist with case management and follow-up care.

• Complete pre-employment and post-offer screenings.

• Conduct Physical Assessment Testing (PATs).

• Support employee health, wellness, education, and prevention initiatives.

Clinic Operations

• Manage day-to-day onsite clinic operations.

• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical record systems.

• Assist with OSHA recordkeeping and other required documentation.

• Order and maintain clinic supplies.

• Complete general administrative and compliance responsibilities.

Partnership & Communication

• Build strong relationships with employees and provide an excellent patient experience.

• Partner with the employer’s Safety and Human Resources teams.

• Coordinate with outside medical providers, urgent care centers, and hospitals when additional care is needed.

• Collaborate with Medcor Operations and clinical resources for ongoing support.

What You’ll Need

• Current EMT, Paramedic, or LPN licensure/certification applicable to the position.

• Current CPR/BLS certification.

• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently.

• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.

• Comfort using computers, electronic medical records, and other workplace technology.

• Ability to lift and carry a 50-pound emergency response bag.

• A patient-focused approach and commitment to providing excellent care.

It's a Plus If You Have

• Occupational or workplace health experience.

• Emergency medicine, EMS, urgent care, or critical care experience.

• Experience working independently in a clinical setting.
