• →Creating designs, technical drawings, calculations and models, prototypes and test results
• →Enable realization of projects from concept through production and market introduction
• →Work closely with project managers, engineers, production teams and users to ensure high-performing, manufacturable, and cost-effective design solutions 
• →Designs, develops, analyses, troubleshoots and provides technical skills during research and/or product development
• →Designs studies to investigate specific life science questions within field of expertise
• →May be involved in product research and development and/or clinical trials and translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field with proven experience as a Design Engineer, CAD Drafter or similar role preferably in the field of precision mechanics
• Proficiency in CAD software preferably AutoCAD and SolidWorks and skilled in performing analytical mechanical calculations supported by FEM analyses
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing and construction principles and ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering standards
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills combined with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Mastering the Dutch & English language
