Oversee and enhance Melita’s Fibre Backbone: Drive capacity growth, resilience, and ensure seamless operations across the network.

Lead on field and desk operations: From updating GIS maps and preparing schedules to supporting technicians in the field with splicing and network testing.

Ensure network excellence: Use advanced diagnostic tools such as OTDR to troubleshoot, identify, and resolve issues including cable damage, signal degradation, and system faults.

Design and future-proof infrastructure: Work with engineers to plan robust, scalable, and standards-compliant fibre optic networks.

Mentor and support teams: Train, supervise, and inspire fibre technicians, ensuring skills growth and high-quality work standards.

Champion safety and reliability: Conduct inspections, enforce compliance with industry standards (GPON, WDM, ITU), and ensure customer impact is minimised during major operations.
