Yardhorse Driver - 1st Shift

This position requires team members to efficiently move trailers around the facility to help prepare freight that is being transported to Menard, Inc. stores.

• →Safely and efficiently move trailers to different areas of the facility
• →Follow all safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions while driving and operating equipment in order to ensure personal safety and the safety of others
• →Open and close swinging trailer doors.
• →Ensure proper freight securement of all loaded trailers
• →Ability to work accurately with numbers and perform simple mathematical calculations
• →Communicate with area supervisors using a yard management system to ensure proper placement of trailers
• →Perform pre-trip inspection on trailers
• →Perform safety check of tractor vehicle prior to operation
• →Basic mechanical skills.
