Merge serves fintechs, investment platforms, marketplaces, and corporate treasury teams globally, helping them improve cross-border payments, liquidity management, FX execution, and treasury operations.
We are looking for a talented and passionate Frontend Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. As a critical member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in building and enhancing our payments web applications to ensure a seamless user experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable front-end code using ReactJS.
- →Implement and manage state in React applications using Redux or Context API to ensure a seamless and responsive user experience.
- →Write unit tests and perform functional testing to ensure code quality and robustness. Conduct browser testing and debugging to optimise performance across different browsers.
- →Work closely with designers, backend developers, Product and other stakeholders to translate requirements and mockups into fully functional features.
- →Accurately convert design files (e.g., Figma) into responsive and interactive React components.
- →Identify bottlenecks and improve performance to ensure fast load times and smooth user interactions.
- →Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and standards in front-end development.
- 7+ years of experience in frontend development at a product organisation, with B2B fintech experience, is a significant positive.
- Must have 5+ years of development experience in ReactJS, Scss/Sass.
- Strong understanding of state management in React using Redux/Context API.
- Experience in writing unit tests and functional testing in React.
- Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Hands-on experience in converting design files (like Figma) to React components.
- Knowledge of other modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
