We're looking for a Director of Enterprise PMO who is a strategic thinker, strong people leader, and passionate about turning business priorities into results. You'll work closely with executive leadership and teams across Milan to strengthen enterprise planning, improve project execution, and ensure our most important initiatives are aligned with business priorities.

The Director of Enterprise PMO leads Milan's Project Management Office and plays a critical role in how enterprise initiatives are planned, prioritized, executed, and communicated across the organization.

You'll lead and develop a team of project managers, partner with senior leadership on annual enterprise planning, and build the systems, processes, and reporting that provide visibility into organizational priorities and project performance.

This role requires someone who can balance big-picture strategy with hands-on execution, navigate competing priorities, and bring clarity to complex business challenges.

• →Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of project managers, establishing clear expectations around performance, project ownership, and professional development.
• →Oversee the day-to-day effectiveness of the PMO, ensuring projects are managed consistently and successfully.
• →Maintain visibility across enterprise initiatives, helping teams navigate risks, dependencies, competing priorities, and barriers to execution.
• →Provide hands-on support and problem-solving for projects ranging from smaller process improvements to complex, enterprise-wide initiatives.

• Partner with senior leadership to support annual enterprise planning and translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives.
• Develop and improve prioritization and capacity planning practices to help leadership make informed decisions about resources and organizational priorities.
• Identify cross-functional dependencies, competing priorities, and resource constraints that may impact execution.
• Collaborate with leaders across departments to align business needs, strategic initiatives, and organizational capacity.

• Lead enterprise project governance, including Steering Committee meetings, prioritization discussions, decision tracking, and follow-through.
• Establish consistent reporting and communication practices that provide leadership with visibility into project progress, risks, milestones, and decisions needed.
• Prepare portfolio insights, recommendations, and presentations for senior and executive leadership.
• Develop and strengthen KPIs and reporting practices to measure project outcomes, identify opportunities for improvement, and highlight enterprise accomplishments.

• Build and improve project management systems, workflows, tools, and standards that support effective execution across the organization.
• Partner with departments to connect project management platforms with other business systems and processes.
• Identify opportunities to leverage technology and automation to simplify workflows, improve visibility, and increase efficiency.
• Introduce best practices and scalable solutions that continue to strengthen Milan's project and portfolio management capabilities.

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of progressive experience in project, program, or portfolio management, PMO leadership, or enterprise operations.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience developing high-performing teams.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives with senior and executive leaders.
• Experience building or maturing prioritization, capacity planning, governance, and annual planning practices.
• Experience connecting strategic planning to enterprise execution.
• Smartsheet experience required.
• PMP or comparable project/program management certification required.
• Strong communication, coaching, relationship-building, and stakeholder influence skills.
• Strong business acumen, systems thinking, and continuous improvement mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Jira experience, including platform integration, preferred.
