Moog Aircraft Group is looking for an apprentice-trained, experienced Gear Grinder Machinist at our facility based in Wolverhampton. At Moog, we're focused on the customer and for us, this means designing complex mechanical products that are often bespoke and high-profile. Our Machinists work to exceptionally close tolerance, an essential requirement of the aerospace industry

As a Gear Grinder, you will:

• Set up and operate multiple CNC gear grinding machines and griding equipment

• Perform first-off inspections and complete necessary quality documentation.

• Capability and competent in setting up and using machine tools

• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, technical specifications, and gear data.

• Proven experience in a machine shop environment

• Competent in setting up and using machine tools

• Confident in using precision measurement equipment.
