The Warehouse Manager owns DC safety culture — driving toward zero accidents and ensuring full compliance with all company safety and security procedures. Delivering consistent service excellence and fulfilling orders accurately and on time is central to the role, with an ongoing focus on operational efficiency and cost management.
The Manager, Warehouse Operations is responsible for directing, coordinating, and staffing accurate and timely receiving, picking, packing, and distribution of all outbound orders across Wholesale, eCommerce 3PLs, and international transfers to EMEA and other global customers. This role also oversees the Value-Added Services (VAS) team, responsible for kitting special projects, VIP mailers, ensemble and GWP assembly, ad hoc labeling and QC projects.
The Manager leads, develops, and mentors a team of Supervisors and warehouse associates, fostering a high-performance culture built on accountability, continuous improvement, and team growth.
- Safety
- Safety is the foundation of everything this role does — driving toward zero accidents and ensuring full compliance with all company safety and security procedures.
- Monitors DC safety, physical security, and operational metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Warehouse Operations
- Partners with the Director of Warehouse Operations to drive financial, operational, and service-related objectives, with a focus on continuous improvement and reducing overall cost-to-serve; leads employees and peers to anticipate, identify, and solve operational problems before they impact service.
- Coordinates inbound receiving activities in close partnership with the Logistics team, Shipping & Receiving Supervisor, and Quality Control team to ensure product is received accurately and made available for fulfillment in a timely manner.
- Works closely with Order Management and Supply Management teams to anticipate and plan for upcoming fulfillment demands across all distribution points.
- Continuously reviews and evaluates the effectiveness of work methods, procedures, controls, and staffing, recommending alternatives to ensure accurate and timely movement of product.
- Utilizes warehouse best practices to minimize product damage, waste, and inefficiencies.
- Meets deadlines and performance goals as established by leadership.
- Value Added Services (VAS)
- Oversees the VAS team responsible for kitting of special projects, VIP mailers, ensemble and GWP assembly, and ad hoc labeling and QC projects, ensuring accuracy, throughput, and on-time delivery against project timelines.
- People Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Supervises a team of direct and temporary employees responsible for inbound receipt and outbound fulfillment of all product.
- Coaches, trains, and develops employees through both informal methods (on-floor coaching, real-time feedback) and formal programs (written evaluations, structured training).
- Solicits feedback from Leads and Supervisors to monitor employee performance and behavior, holding employees accountable for following proper procedures, processes, and system requirements in partnership with the People team.
- Provides regular feedback to the Director on team strengths and individual development needs.
- Maintains a union-free work environment by fostering an employee-centered culture that demonstrates genuine care and concern for all employees.
- Processes employee payroll and ensures compliance with all required meal and rest break regulations.
- Communicates regularly with direct reports, peers, and the Director to coordinate activities, address operational issues, and drive toward productivity and service goals.

Requirements
Requirements
~2 min read- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, operations, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment, preferably within the consumer-packaged goods industry, required.
- Strong people management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and hold teams accountable in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret operational data, identify trends, and drive actionable improvements.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously without sacrificing accuracy or service quality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization — from warehouse associates to senior leadership.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) required; familiarity with RF-Smart/ NetSuite preferred.
- Working knowledge of California wage and hour laws, including meal and rest break requirements.
- Experience overseeing value added services, kitting, or assembly operations preferred.
- Experience managing fulfillment across multiple channels including wholesale, eCommerce, and international transfers preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
- Travel to offsite meetings as needed.
- Ability to consistently walk, stoop, kneel, bend 9+ hours a day.
- Ability to frequently lift, lower, and carry up to 45 lbs.
- Ability to ascend or descend ladders, stairs and/or ramps.
