Postdoctoral Fellow-MSH-30001-321
Quick Summary
Employ structural biology techniques to study and understand the structure, function, and dynamics of disease-related proteins and protein-ligand complexes.
Ph.D. in structural biology, biochemistry, biophysics, or related fields such as chemistry, physical chemistry, or biological structure research, completed within the last three years.
Are you passionate about unraveling the mysteries of proteins and their roles in diseases like Alzheimer’s and cancer? Dr. Wei Wang’s lab at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking motivated Postdoctoral Research Scientists to dive into groundbreaking structural biology research. Gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge techniques like cryo-EM and X-ray crystallography in a collaborative environment. This is an incredible opportunity for recent graduates to enhance their skills and contribute to high-impact projects.
Ready to make a difference? Apply now and be a part of our team!
As a Postdoctoral Research Scientist, you will contribute to the investigation of the structure and dynamics of disease-related proteins using single-particle cryo-EM, X-ray diffraction, and molecular simulations. You will also participate in structure-assisted drug design in collaboration with computational scientists. This role offers the opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to advancing time-resolved structural biology techniques to understand and manipulate the structure, function, and dynamics of drug targets.
