Our models for demand forecasting, assortment planning, and promotion optimization run in production across hundreds of stores. Today we're going further — developing AI agents, LLM integrations, and generative AI systems that are transforming how business decisions are made in retail. From classical machine learning to the latest AI technologies, our platform covers the full spectrum.

The Role

We're looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our team in Zagreb. You'll work hands-on with the GCP infrastructure that powers all of our AI and data products — from data processing pipelines and ML models to AI agents and LLM services in production.

Teams are organized around use cases (demand forecasting, assortment, promotions, AI agents), and you'll be part of the Cloud Ops team supporting all of them. We work in an Agile setup, with a hybrid model, in a small team where everyone's contribution is visible.

What You'll Do

Infrastructure & Automation

• Build and manage cloud infrastructure on GCP (Cloud Run, VPC networking, DNS, Storage)
• Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Build CI/CD pipelines with Cloud Build and Bitbucket Pipelines
• Write Python scripts and automation tools
• Containerize and deploy applications using Docker

Data & AI Platform

• Work with BigQuery, AlloyDB, and PostgreSQL
• Maintain dbt projects and data transformations
• Support ML workflows on Vertex AI and Kubeflow Pipelines
• Support AI services — deploying LLM models, AI agents, and generative AI applications
• Manage and build GCP services and architectures

What We're Looking For

• 1-3+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or a similar technical role
• Proficiency in Python (scripting, automation)
• Experience with Docker and container-based deployments
• Familiarity with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, HTTPS, IP)
• Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, BigQuery, or similar)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with Vertex AI, Kubeflow, or ML pipelines
• Familiarity with dbt for data transformations
• Experience with LLMs, AI agents, or generative AI services
• Google Cloud certification
