Requirements

- This position is open to current employees of the Office of Community Corrections (OCC) only.
- The primary location for this position is Dartmouth.
- Regular travel among the following OCC locations will be required as part of the duties of this position: Dartmouth, Taunton, Barnstable/Hyannis, and Plymouth.

- A Bachelors degree in criminal justice, business management, public administration, behavioral sciences or law or other related field.
- A minimum of six years of experience in court administration, probation, parole, corrections, or human services, of which two (2) years must be in a supervisory capacity, or an equivalent combination of the required education and experience.
- Mastery of Evidence Based Practice (EBP) principles for treatment in criminal justice population, especially risk/need assessment.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting program evaluations and preparing evaluation reports and recommendations; demonstrated ability to organize, direct and coordinate programs.
- Ability to work flexible hours. Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License. Ability to travel throughout the State.

Working within the Office of Community Corrections, the Regional Program Manager is responsible for the management and effective implementation of interventions, services, and supports at community justice support centers in his/her region. The Regional Program Manager monitors performance and ensures compliance with OCC contracts and Interagency Service Agreements for Program Management, Treatment Service Delivery, Program Monitoring/Security, Drug and Alcohol Screening and other ancillary services.
Works under the direct supervision of the Executive and Deputy Directors in performing duties which require independent judgement in resolving problems within guidelines, standards and established procedures.
Supervises all OCC personnel assigned to CJSC locations within a specific region and other OCC personnel as directed by the Executive Director.
Responsibilities

- →Develops, implements, and coordinates policies and procedures to meet regional needs for service delivery at CJSC.
- →Develops, implements, and coordinates CJSC programming with service providers and criminal justice stakeholders including courts, probation, parole, prosecution and defense bar, sheriff’s departments, and the department of correction.
- →Develops, implements, and coordinates strategies, tactics, and protocols for business engagement with specialty court sessions.
- →Coordinates drug and alcohol abuse testing and treatment, electronic monitoring, community service, and related protocols for people referred to CJSC according to OCC policies and procedures.
- →Develops, implements, and coordinates, community engagement activities at the CJSC.
- →Develops, implements, and coordinators stakeholder engagement to promote business for the CJSC.
- →Conducts program audit and evaluation to ensure consistency with EBP, contract compliance, and adherence to OCC policies and procedures.
- →Coordinates CJSC participation in implementation support and fidelity monitoring activities with third parties.
- →Maintains personnel records and monitors and tracks time accountability records for assigned personnel.
- →Performs related duties as required.
