Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Utilizes the nursing process as a systematic problem-solving approach to nursing care, facilitating an optimal level of functioning and health for the patient.
- →Independently triages patients in person, via telephone and secure messages, utilizing protocols, guidelines, and standards.
- →Uses critical thinking skills in making decisions regarding patient care, which includes knowledge and integration of relevant standards, resources, and data.
- →Uses assessment and analysis skills in delivering medical regimens as directed by physicians and APPs.
- →Delegates selected patient care functions to others in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence.
- →Collaborates with the clinic team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience and stewardship.
- →Fosters a learning environment for patients, families, and all members of the health care team.
- →Advocates for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.
Requirements
~2 min read- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
- Current BLS Certification
- Advanced Life Support certification may be required after hire, depending on assigned clinic site
- Two years of experience as a RN - in a clinic setting preferred
- Candidates with less than two years' experience may be considered for Transition to Practice Program
