1-3 years' experience in Infection Prevention and Control Licenses/Certificates: Certification in Infection Control preferred. Must be BLS and ACLS certified.
• Reports to Director of Nursing (DON)
Conducts infection control surveillance throughout the organization. Identifies, investigates and records data concerning healthcare associated infections, epidemiologically significant organisms and state reportable diseases. Initiates control measures as authorized by designated committees. Works independently with computer/internet access, managing multiple priorities in a physical environment that houses the hospital system's Quality Department.
