Machinist

• →Operate and maintain machining equipment to fabricate high-quality metal parts and components according to specified blueprints and technical drawings.
• →Set up machines including CNC and manual machinists tools to perform tasks such as drilling, cutting, and shaping metal materials.
• →Inspect finished parts for quality assurance, ensuring compliance with company standards and customer specifications.
• →Collaborate closely with the fabrication team and engineering to optimize processes and resolve machining issues.
• →Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
• →Assist in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and perform routine preventative maintenance on machining tools.
• →Document production activities and report progress, issues, and recommendations to supervisors.

• Proven experience as a Fabrication Machinist or similar role in the oil and energy industry or heavy industrial fabrication.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machinery operation, programming, and manual machining techniques.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• Ability to adhere to strict safety standards and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

• Ability to work extended hours, including overtime, weekends, or swing shifts as needed to meet project deadlines

• Climb ladders, work in manlifts up to 25 feet above ground
• Work in confined spaces and at elevated heights when required
