About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Data to lead and grow our nascent Data Team. This is a critical hybrid role, requiring a deep technical expert who can not only  Individual Contributor but also set the strategic vision for the department's data capabilities and lead the team's growth. 

Candidates will report directly to the Director of Engineering and will be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business strategy and product development.

• →5+ years of progressive experience in Data Science, Data Analysis, or a related quantitative field.
• →Expert proficiency in SQL and a programming language commonly used in data science (e.g., Python or R).
• →Demonstrated experience designing and implementing statistical models, machine learning models, and large-scale data analyses.
• →Familiarity with modern data warehousing and ETL concepts (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, DBT).
• →Strong experience with visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• →2+ years of formal or informal experience leading projects, mentoring junior analysts/scientists, or functioning as a technical lead.
• →Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex analytical findings to both highly technical and executive audiences.
• →Proven ability to take ownership of an ambiguous problem space, define a clear strategy, and manage the execution of that strategy independently.

Compensation & Benefits:
