Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Fabricate and modify commercial hollow metal, wood, and storefront doors and frames per shop drawings and specifications
- →Measure, cut, drill, route, weld, and assemble door components using shop tools and fabrication equipment
- →Prep doors for hinges, locks, closers, exit devices, and other commercial hardware
- →Verify dimensions, swing, handing, and hardware locations prior to fabrication
- →Install glass kits, louvers, edge guards, and other accessories as required
- →Inspect completed doors and frames to ensure quality and accuracy
- →Label and organize fabricated doors by project, opening number, and delivery sequence
- →Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams to confirm material availability
- →Assist with loading, packaging, and staging doors for delivery or jobsite deployment
- →Maintain a clean, organized, and safe fabrication area
- →Follow all safety procedures and shop standards
- →Troubleshoot fabrication issues and communicate improvements or concerns to leadership
Requirements
~1 min read- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Strong ability to read measurements and use hand and power tools
- Experience with routers, drill presses, saws, welders, and other fabrication equipment
- Ability to lift and move door units weighing 50–150 lbs (with assistance as needed)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Reliable attendance and ability to meet production deadlines
Requirements
~1 min read- Experience with Division 8 products and commercial door hardware
- Welding or metal fabrication experience
- Familiarity with storefront and hollow metal systems
- Forklift or warehouse equipment experience
Requirements
~1 min read- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Frequent use of hand and power tools
- Comfortable working in a shop/warehouse environment with moderate noise, dust, and varying temperatures
