Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) FT

• →Encourages residents’ independence and assists with self-care as needed
• →Provides personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, mouth care, and nail care
• →Assists with toileting, incontinence care, and changes linens as needed
• →Helps transfer residents safely and obtains help for total lifts
• →Assists with meals and ensures resident comfort at rest times
• →Responds promptly to call lights and reports changes or injuries to supervisors
• →Applies standard precautions and follows isolation procedures
• →Supports restorative and rehabilitative care
• →Performs unit cleaning duties and other tasks as required

• Current GNA certification in the state of Maryland
• Previous experience in a healthcare or senior living setting preferred
• Genuine passion for providing compassionate, resident-centered care
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive, respectful attitude
• Ability to communicate clearly and maintain confidentiality
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of care and professionalism
