Salary Range: $79,770.00 - $131,620.00
*A Sign-on bonus of $15,000 may be offered to the successful applicant(s) of this posting, contingent on the 2025-2026 Budget Approval.

The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred:
Maintain awareness of current psychological practice through review of literature and attending workshops.
Thorough knowledge of the special needs of the emotionally and socially distressed, intellectually and developmentally disabled, and disadvantaged.
Thorough knowledge of principles of therapeutic intervention, including behavior modification.
Through knowledge of objective psychological, educational and developmental tests.
Advanced skill in the proper application and interpretation of those tests, and in preparing and presenting reports.
This position is Exempt from certain provisions of The State Human Resources Act (GS 126)
This position is designated as mandatory and must report or stay over during adverse weather events.

Eligibility for licensure in North Carolina under the provisions of the NC Psychology Practice Act (G.S. 90-270) and two years of professional psychological experience, one of which must be postdoctoral. Refer to the law for specifics regarding experience requirements.
