Requirements
~1 min readWe are seeking a highly analytical and creative Prompt Engineer to design, test, and optimize interactions with AI systems. This role is ideal for someone with strong problem-solving skills and a deep appreciation for user interaction and experience design. You will help shape how users engage with AI by crafting effective prompts, improving response quality, and ensuring the overall experience is intuitive, useful, and human-centered.
- Design, refine, and maintain prompts for AI applications across a range of use cases.
- Translate ambiguous business or user needs into structured prompt strategies and interaction flows.
- Test and evaluate AI outputs for quality, accuracy, consistency, and usability.
- Improve prompt performance through experimentation, iteration, and analysis.
- Partner with product, design, engineering, and business teams to create seamless AI-powered user experiences.
- Identify failure modes, edge cases, and opportunities to improve AI behavior.
- Develop prompt libraries, best practices, and documentation for internal teams.
- Apply UX thinking to ensure AI interactions are clear, engaging, and aligned with user intent.
- Monitor user feedback and usage patterns to continuously improve AI interactions.
- Stay current on developments in generative AI, LLM behavior, and conversational design.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to write clearly, precisely, and creatively.
- Experience in prompt engineering, conversation design, UX writing, product design, or similar roles.
- Understanding of human-computer interaction, user research, or behavioral design.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in product or technology environments.
- Experience designing user-centered experiences, conversation flows, or digital interactions.
- Familiarity with generative AI tools, large language models, or conversational AI platforms.
- Ability to analyze outputs, identify patterns, and make data-informed improvements.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, experimental environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Professional proficiency in English.
