Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.

Built by engineers, for engineers. From large-scale GPU orchestration to inference optimization, we own the hard problems across compute, storage, networking and applied AI.

Listed on Nasdaq (NBIS) and headquartered in Amsterdam, we have a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, the UK, North America and Israel. Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D.

Nebius is looking for a rigorous and assertive Vendor Security & Standards Manager to own the end-to-end compliance of all external supply chain security partners against Nebius security standards and requirements. This role sits at the enforcement edge of the NGSCS function — its purpose is to ensure that every vendor, carrier, 3PL, and logistics partner operating within the Nebius supply chain performs to the standards Nebius defines, without exception.

The Vendor Security & Standards Manager is responsible for physically verifying compliance on the ground, identifying gaps, mandating corrective actions, and holding vendors accountable to a zero tolerance policy on security standards. Where vendors fall short, this role drives change - escalating non-compliance, enforcing remediation timelines, and recommending vendor sanctions where necessary.

The role operates globally, engaging with vendors across all Nebius supply chain regions including the USA, EU, Taiwan, APAC and Israel - and serves as the NGSCS authority on vendor security performance. It reports directly to the Head of Global Supply Chain Security and works in close coordination with regional managers to ensure consistent standards enforcement across the entire vendor network.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and continuously update vendor-facing security requirements, obligations, and compliance benchmarks in line with NGSCS policy and global best practice
  • Define and enforce azero tolerance compliance policy across all vendor security obligations, with clear escalation paths for non-compliance
  • Ensure all vendors are formally onboarded against NGSCS security standards, including documented acceptance of requirements prior to operational engagement
  • Work with NGSCS leadership, legal, and procurement to ensure vendor security requirements are embedded in contracts and service agreements

Requirements

~1 min read
  • Issue formal corrective action notices to non-compliant vendors, defining mandatory remediation requirements and binding timelines
  • Track and verify the completion of all corrective actions, ensuring no gap is left unresolved beyond agreed timelines
  • Re-inspect vendor sites following corrective action to verify that changes have been implemented correctly and sustainably
  • Maintain a global vendor compliance register, tracking inspection history, outstanding actions, and compliance status across all active vendors
  • Escalate persistent or severe non-compliance to the Head of Global Supply Chain Security, with recommendations for vendor sanctions, suspension, or replacement
  • Serve as the primary NGSCS point of contact for all vendor security compliance matters globally
  • Communicate Nebius security expectations clearly and assertively to vendor security and operations leadership
  • Conduct structured vendor security reviews and performance assessments on a regular cadence
  • Drive a culture of security accountability across the vendor network, ensuring vendors understand that compliance is non-negotiable
  • Support the onboarding of new vendors by assessing security posture prior to operational activation and defining any pre-activation requirements
  • Produce regular global vendor compliance reports for NGSCS leadership, providing a clear picture of network-wide compliance status, trends, and risk exposure
  • Identify patterns of non-compliance across vendors or regions and recommend systemic improvements to standards or enforcement mechanisms
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of NGSCS vendor security standards, drawing on inspection findings and industry developments
  • Provide input to NGSCS policy updates, SOPs, and vendor-facing documentation based on on-the-ground compliance experience
