Diverse adult patient population with acute and chronic medical conditions
Experience with titratable drips, chest tubes, high-flow oxygen therapy, and end-of-life care
Advanced technology including digital door signs, digital whiteboards, virtual nursing support, and virtual patient monitoring
New graduate-friendly environment with opportunities to start alongside classmates
Temporary placement on an alternate Medical Surgical unit until December 2026 reopening
Ongoing leadership support with structured 30/60/90-day development touchpoints

Requirements

• Minimum of 16 years of age required.

• Possesses a Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state of Nebraska required.

• Demonstrated effective communication skills required.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later).

• Based on department need, Medication Aide certification and completion of an Injectables course may be required after hire in outpatient settings.

• Knowledge of computer data entry and word processing preferred.

• Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
