Specialist Program Manager

As a Specialist Program Manager, you will lead complex, cross-functional programs and initiatives that support the organization’s strategic goals. You will work closely with stakeholders across Product Management, R&D, Operations, and other functions to drive roadmap planning, timely and successful execution, and measurable business outcomes. You will not only track and report on progress, but own the program end-to-end, challenging scope, driving decisions, and ensuring that teams deliver the right outcomes with high quality.

8–12 years of experience in the IT/software industry, including 5+ years in software development program management leading complex, multi-team initiatives.

Strong understanding of program and project management methodologies, including Agile/Scrum practices, and the ability to apply them pragmatically.

Proven track record of owning outcomes—not just reporting status—by driving decisions, resolving issues, and ensuring delivery of measurable business results.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders across Product, R&D, Operations, and other functions.

Demonstrated ability to independently prepare and present executive-level communications and presentations, providing clear, concise narratives and recommendations.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects and stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a bias for action and a focus on solutions rather than escalation alone.

Hands-on experience with:

Software Development and Quality processes and standards

Release Management and pre-/post-production product launches

Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and Power BI

Working knowledge of:

Cloud technologies (AWS, Snowflake)

DevOps practices and CI/CD concepts

PMP or Agile certifications are preferred
