Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Write and maintain high quality code which is production ready
- →Be available for production support
- →Measure and debug performance bottlenecks for a suite of products
- →Be able to ship a feature end to end: frontend, backend, CI, infrastructure
- →Be a mentor for junior engineers
- →Be able to lead larger initiatives, delegate development tasks to others, and influence high quality technical execution
- →Generate a technical roadmap for improving scalability, performance, observability, testability, etc.
- →Perform code reviews and uphold high bar for best practices
- →Suggest changes to coding standards style guide
- →Be able to challenge product requirements and drive consensus to improved solutions
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of industry experience
- Solid understanding of cloud security practices
- Experience building full stack cloud applications (both frontend and backend)
- Experience with REST, SQL, CI/CD, AWS, Kubernetes, message brokering, and Docker
- Experience with SQL query/schema optimization
- Strong technical documentation skills (architecture diagrams + sequence diagramming)
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong self learning and improvement mindset
