At NOVACARD, we're looking for a Legal Contracts & Corporate Affairs Analyst to support NOVAPLAZO and our growing operations in Mexico.

You will work across commercial contracting, corporate affairs, AML/KYC compliance, and financial regulation, partnering with Operations, Finance, Product, Commercial, and other teams.

Responsibilities

  • Review, negotiate, and formalize merchant, supplier, and commercial agreements, including NDAs.

  • Review key clauses related to data protection, intellectual property, confidentiality, liability, and termination.

  • Manage contract documentation, version control, signatures, and corporate files.

  • Support shareholder meetings, powers of attorney, corporate records, and filings before the RPC and SAT.

  • Coordinate corporate matters with notaries, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders.

  • Support AML/KYC compliance under LFPIORPI and applicable regulations.

  • Review and validate customer and corporate documentation.

  • Support monthly notices and reporting before the UIF.

  • Assist with regulatory matters involving Banxico, CONDUSEF, PROFECO, and other relevant authorities.

  • Provide day-to-day legal support to Operations, Product, Commercial, and Finance teams.

  • Experience in commercial contracts and corporate law.

  • Knowledge of Mexican corporate and commercial regulations.

  • Knowledge of AML regulations (LFPIORPI) and KYC processes.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and legal writing skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple legal matters and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Nice to Have

    • Experience in fintech, financial services, acquiring, payments, or regulated industries.

    • Knowledge of financial regulation and data protection (LFPDPPP).

    • Experience with electronic signature and document management platforms.

    • Postgraduate studies in Corporate, Financial, or Regulatory Law.
