  • →Ability to manage their own time and job priorities with minimal hour-to-hour supervision (self-starter)

  • →Completion of FAIR in support of quality engineers

  • →Ability to escalate and influence cross-functionally.

  • →Basic understanding of computer applications including spreadsheets, manufacturing test applications, and quality analysis software
  • →Understand Calibration and ESD
  • →Use standard inspection tools, i.e., micrometers, height gage, calipers. CMM is a plus.
  • →Collect and analyze data to predict trends that will affect the improvement of product quality.
  • →Ensures effective, timely communication and complete problem resolution.
  • →Contributes to root-cause analysis and other problem-solving activities to identify effective corrective actions and process improvements within manufacturing, materials, engineering, and planning.
  • →Train manufacturing and inspection personnel.
  • Strict compliance with quality, occupational safety and environmental regulations.
  • Implementation of the instructions of the quality / environmental management representative and the occupational safety specialist.

  • AS degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or similar work experience
  • 3-year relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Good understanding of Smartsheet, Excel and Power Point
  • Must demonstrate the ability to show initiative and commitment to the company’s goals as well as readily adapt to changing requirements.
  • Able to work from specifications, technical manuals, schematics, and verbal/written instructions.
  • Ability to discuss technical problems encountered with customers, engineering, and the senior management team verbally and through the written word.
  • Experience with ERP systems, Oracle, and customer portal access, exp. a plus
  • Experience with CMM (Zeiss CMM Calypso) is required

  • Ability to use vision to read computer screens and read printed materials.
  • Regularly lift 30-50 pounds & perform repetitive tasks. 
  • Regularly possess manual dexterity to assemble & test instruments quickly and accurately.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus on optical inspection equipment.
