Position Overview
A busy family in Chester, NJ is looking for an experienced, proactive, and highly organized Part-Time Live-Out Family Assistant to support their household and their two teenage boys, ages 15 and 16. The parents have very full schedules, so they need a true self-starter who can run the household’s day-to-day logistics on their own, anticipate needs, and keep everything moving without being directed.
A large part of the role is driving. Afternoons start with a 3:00 PM school pick-up, followed by frequent transportation to hockey and tennis. The role also covers grocery shopping, laundry, errands, and cooking a healthy dinner for the boys each night. The family eats a sugar-free, protein-forward diet, the boys are big meat eaters, and all meals must be free of nuts and sesame.
The family provides a vehicle for work driving, a dedicated credit card for household purchases, and food. A cleaning service comes every other week. There are no overnight or travel duties. The family is looking for a long-term team member, and the role may start with an overlap period for a smooth transition.
