  • Position: Medical Assistant
  • Location: Des Plaines, IL
  • Full Time/Part Time: Part Time (20 hours)
  • Hours: Monday and Friday 7AM- 5PM, Tuesday-Thursday 7AM to 6PM, rotating Saturdays 7AM-1PM
  • Required Travel: Travel to other sites based upon department needs
  • undefinedWhat you will do:Greet patients and escort them to exam room Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit Provide front office support as needed Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight Phlebotomy and injections may be required What you will need:Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required Certification: CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred, but not required. Experience: One year of work experience required, previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred.  On the job training is provided for those who do not have previous medical assistant training or experience.  Unique or Preferred Skills: N/A Benefits (For full time or part time positions):Eligibility for our Annual Incentive Plan, which offers the potential to earn a certain percentage amount of your base salary based on organizational performance.
