RN - Cardiac Imaging - 32 hours/week

• Position: RN – Cardiac Imaging

• Location: Swedish Hospital, Chicago

• Full Time: 32 hours per week (4 days)

• Shift: M-F Days

• On-Call: Rotating weekend and holiday on-call coverage

• Perform stress testing and provide patient assessment and nursing care.

• Assist with contrast injections, venipuncture, medication administration, oxygen therapy and IV management.

• Develop and implement individualized plans of care and document patient progress and interventions.

• Provide patient and family education based on individual needs.

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide safe, evidence-based care throughout cardiac diagnostic testing.

• License: Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required.

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

• Certification: American Heart Association CPR certification required. ACLS required within six months of hire.

• Experience: One year of staff nursing experience preferred; critical care experience (CCU, ICU, ER or Cath Lab) preferred.
