Position: Sonographer MFM
Location: Evanston, IL
Full Time/Part Time: Full TimeHours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm.
Required Travel: Limited Travel

The MFM Sonographer is a role responsible for performing a wide range of advanced ultrasound procedures and providing expert technical support. This position requires a deep understanding of ultrasound techniques, equipment, and patient care, as well as a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Perform a variety of advanced ultrasound procedures to obstetric specialized diagnostic images for MFM specialty
→
Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, addressing patient concerns, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout examinations.

Operate and maintain advanced ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to quality standards.

Adjust imaging parameters to optimize image quality and accuracy, demonstrating proficiency in various scanning techniques.

Conduct regular quality control checks on ultrasound equipment and maintain records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Accurately document patient information, procedure details, and image data in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.

Ensure the safe use of ultrasound equipment and adherence to safety protocols, including proper disposal of biohazardous materials.

Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to review and interpret images, provide input on patient care plans, and assist in clinical decision-making.

Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound technology, safety protocols, and clinical best practices through ongoing education and training.

American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and Echocardiography Certification preferred
