Electro-Mechanical Technician

• Troubleshoot 3 phase electrical systems and resistive heating circuits
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices
• Install and mount electronic controls, device panels, sensors, and components
• Replace and wire electronic components as needed
• Read blueprints to determine how electrical equipment should function
• Troubleshoot hydraulic issues on production equipment
• Utilize machine information to troubleshoot problems
• Work with production personnel to understand equipment failure and determine the best course of action to correct the issue(s)
• Replace pumps, motors, and gear boxes
• Replace shot end components, goosenecks, plungers, rings as needed
• Troubleshoot chiller and identify issues
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical and robotic systems
• Read blueprints to determine how mechanical equipment should function
• Other duties as assigned by Plant Engineering Manager

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Electro-Mechanical Technician
• Previous electrical experience
• Associate’s degree in Electronics a plus
• Experience using hand tools, small power tools, shop machines and heavy equipment
• Chiller knowledge
• HVAC knowledge
