NTT DATA is looking for high-achieving team players that are quickly adaptable to new challenges and entrepreneurial ventures. We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to work in 100% onsite in Basking Ridge, NJ with our global client.
We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to support large-scale IT infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience managing complex IT projects, particularly across workplace, network, and infrastructure domains. This role requires a strong combination of technical expertise, project delivery leadership, and stakeholder management to successfully drive multiple concurrent initiatives from initiation through completion.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational IT standards and PMO methodology.
- →Coordinate and oversee multiple IT initiatives simultaneously, maintaining high standards for technical execution, planning, and communication.
- →Participate in project scope definition, technical solution design, budgeting, and resource planning.
- →Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, accounting for technical complexity, dependencies, and organizational factors.
- →Provide technical and managerial input to ensure project feasibility, alignment, and budget accuracy.
- →Manage project budgets, including tracking performance and reporting on variances.
- →Coordinate cross-functional teams and facilitate regular project status meetings.
- →Collaborate with both local and global stakeholders, including senior leadership, business units, vendors, and external suppliers.
- →Monitor and control project execution, including tasks, milestones, and critical path activities.
- →Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and governance materials; participate in project committees and forums.
- →Develop and maintain project frameworks, templates, and technical procedures.
- →Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- →Assess training needs and support development of training plans.
- →Execute project closeout activities, including performance evaluations, success metrics, and lessons learned.
Requirements
~1 min read- 8+ years of experience delivering large-scale IT infrastructure projects for global organizations.
- Proven track record delivering projects in Workplace, Network, and Infrastructure domains.
- Deep technical expertise in IT infrastructure delivery, network and systems implementations, data center and facility projects, high-availability and secure systems, enterprise platforms, and cloud/hybrid environments.
- Strong experience managing relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors/suppliers.
- Advanced knowledge of Kanban methodology and Microsoft Project.
- PMP certification (PMI) preferred.
- Experience in Life Sciences or Healthcare industries is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to and influence senior leadership.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities across global teams.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional and distributed teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in complex environments.
