Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastrointestinal Medical Oncologist Physician. Subspecialized practice focusing on cancers of the GI tract including gastro-esophageal, pancreatic, hepatobiliary, neuroendocrine, anal and colorectal malignancies.

- Join a growing group that includes 2 GI-specialized medical oncologists, 3 GI medical oncology advanced practitioners, GI radiation oncologist, 4 surgical oncologists and eight colorectal surgeons.
- Multiple GI cancer tumor boards take place each week for subspecialized care planning
- Ample on-site multi-disciplinary resources including nutrition, genetics, palliative care, integrative oncology, social work and nurse navigation
- Robust clinical trial portfolio from phase 1 to phase 3 with opportunity to be principal investigator and sub-investigator on studies
- Opportunities also exist for an academic track including protected research time or a more traditional clinically-focused role
- Physician will be involved in the education and training of hematology/oncology fellows at Ochsner (four per year) with academic and/or department leadership development available
