Responsibilities

As part of our Parks Maintenance team, you'll help maintain and enhance O'Fallon's parks, athletic fields, playgrounds, pavilions, lakes, and green spaces. Your responsibilities will include:

→Grooming and prepping athletic fields for games and tournaments
→Mowing, trimming, seeding, and aerating turf areas
→Maintaining park restrooms, pavilions, and playgrounds for public safety
→Assisting with irrigation, minor construction projects, and playground inspections
→Operating equipment such as mowers, backhoes, dump trucks, and skid steers
→Supporting special events, festivals, and snow removal operations

High school diploma or GED
1–3 years of experience in groundskeeping, parks maintenance, landscaping, or similar work
Valid Class A CDL (or ability to obtain one) – Paid CDL Training Program available
Positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and in various weather conditions
Experience in turf management for athletic fields or golf courses is a plus
Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid Class A CDL driver's license issued by the State of Missouri for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.
