We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the Data Analytics team at Ohme. The ideal candidate excels at using data to drive impactful, business impacting decisions that drive the delivery of user-centric products, help to enhance our customer engagement and simplify the path toward owning an Ohme. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will support Ohme’s teams with reporting and analysis, ensuring that decisions are data-driven

This role requires a combination of deep analytical skills and a strong understanding of business to optimise our customer-centric approach. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver, a data enthusiast, and a technology pioneer and advocate, ready to contribute to our mission. You will have extensive experience and be very comfortable with SQL and Python, using data to answer business questions and working with teams to better understand customer behaviour in order to drive recommendations.

You will:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, identifying areas for improvement through process, data analytics, and disruptive technologies.
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret large datasets using statistical techniques, SQL, and Python to develop data-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements for data-driven solutions.
  • Prepare and present detailed dashboards and reports on data insights, project progress, and outcomes to stakeholders, driving data literacy and informed decision-making across the organisation.
  • Encourage and be part of a movement to establish self-serve reporting across the business.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis or a related role. Experience in technology, energy, transport or customer service sectors is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data for informed business decision-making in previous roles.
  • Skilled in using data analysis tools such as SQL, Python and Excel.
  • Proficient in building and maintaining data models using DBT.
  • Adept at working with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake.
  • Competent in using source version control systems like Git.
  • Knowledgeable in BI applications such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, QuickSight, or Sigma.
  • Strong grasp of data analysis techniques, particularly their application in business contexts.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment.
  • Advocate for AI within the organization, sharing insights about the benefits and possibilities of AI technologies with internal and external stakeholders.
