Senior Technical Writer

• →Design, develop, edit, and deliver accurate and effective developer documentation for Okta products.
• →Work closely with Engineering, Product Management, QA, Support, and members of the Information Development team to ensure quality and accuracy of content.
• →Follow our documentation guidelines to produce high quality documentation.
• →Prioritize projects when working with multiple engineering teams.
• →Collaborate with developers to review API documentation.
• →Analyze customer feedback before and after delivering documentation to enhance content depth, quality, and relevance.

• Minimum 4 years relevant experience writing documentation for Cloud or Enterprise products.
• Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Technical Writing is preferred.
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience writing SDK, CLI, or developer tools documentation.
• Experience writing developer documentation and release notes.
• Experience with Markdown, Visual Studio Code, Acrolinx, and source control tools such as Git and GitHub.
• Familiarity working with Jira and Confluence.
• Collaboration skills with other writers.

• Strong ability to understand the application of security products in the real world and produce use case-based content.
• Knowledge of Okta or similar identity and access management solutions.
• Experience with DITA, OpenAPI, and Redocly.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
