Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Design, develop, edit, and deliver accurate and effective developer documentation for Okta products.
- →Work closely with Engineering, Product Management, QA, Support, and members of the Information Development team to ensure quality and accuracy of content.
- →Follow our documentation guidelines to produce high quality documentation.
- →Prioritize projects when working with multiple engineering teams.
- →Collaborate with developers to review API documentation.
- →Analyze customer feedback before and after delivering documentation to enhance content depth, quality, and relevance.
- Minimum 4 years relevant experience writing documentation for Cloud or Enterprise products.
- Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Technical Writing is preferred.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience writing SDK, CLI, or developer tools documentation.
- Experience writing developer documentation and release notes.
- Experience with Markdown, Visual Studio Code, Acrolinx, and source control tools such as Git and GitHub.
- Familiarity working with Jira and Confluence.
- Collaboration skills with other writers.
- Strong ability to understand the application of security products in the real world and produce use case-based content.
- Knowledge of Okta or similar identity and access management solutions.
- Experience with DITA, OpenAPI, and Redocly.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
