Responsibilities
~1 min readIf you thrive on solving complex manufacturing challenges & bridging the gap between design & production, this role offers the chance to make a direct, measurable impact from the shop floor to the sales team.
As Product Engineer, you'll be a key technical resource across the organization, processing custom orders, optimizing manufacturing processes, & providing hands-on support to both Manufacturing & Technical Sales teams. You'll draw on your knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication, tooling, & quality standards to help drive the most efficient, cost-effective, high-quality production possible.
- →Process & manage custom orders from start to finish
- →Create & prepare job packages & required manufacturing documentation
- →Support day-to-day production line operations
- →Provide technical expertise to Production & PGS (Product Group Sales) teams
- →Investigate & resolve operational problems affecting production
- →Assist with custom quote preparation
- →Support corrective actions, ECNs, & ECRs
- →Partner with NPD Engineers on New Product Development projects
We're looking for a technically sharp, solutions-oriented engineer who's ready to grow into a subject matter expert for their product group.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Manufacturing or Production Engineering
- Proficiency with CAD tools
- Working knowledge of machinery, tools, & dies with an eye for finding the right tool for the job to maximize efficiency
- Demonstrated ability to process complex custom orders
- Strong product knowledge with the ability to provide full technical support for a specific product group
- ERP experience a plus
