Machine Operator - Deslagger - 1st Shift

The Deslag/Grinder is responsible for satisfying customer requirements of quality, quantity and delivery, in a safe manner, while maximizing productivity.  They perform various entry-level production support duties as assigned by supervisor, as well as execute general housekeeping for warehouse. They will be responsible for operating electronic grinders to smooth and/or finish parts prior to and/or following processing.

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Ability to read customer part prints or the successful completion of print reading class.
• Successful completion of the appropriate work center training program(s).
• Proper use and care of precision instruments.
• Precisely follow detailed and extensive instructions.
• Mechanically inclined, production oriented and safety and quality conscious.
• General knowledge of crane operation and ancillary lifting devices
