Executive Project Manager

One Communications (“One”) is currently seeking knowledgeable and experienced applicants for the position of Executive Project Manager. The Executive Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, and delivery of telecom and executive key projects. This includes defining project scope, managing budgets and schedules, and coordinating with organizational stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of telecom technologies, ICT and a proven track record of delivering successful projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES 

• Define project scope, including requirements, deliverables, and timelines

• Develop and assist stakeholders with managing project plans, budgets and schedules

• Coordinate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment and support

• Manage risk and mitigate issues ensuring proper control and adherence to quality standards and procedures 

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle inclusive of any updates, risk or changes in a timely manner

• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards

• Manage vendor relationships, including providing insight and open communications to ensure they are meeting their commitments and the needs of the business 

• Support testing activities, providing oversight on test case development, execution and documentation resolution of issues.

• Provide executive reporting inclusive of risk, action items, achievements., milestones and status to stakeholders and SLT

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• A comprehensive understanding wireline and wireless technology, including Broadband deployment strategies and KPI reporting

• The ability to communicate and provide executive reports to Senior Management. 

• Proven staff management skills including the ability to supervise, motivate and train.

• Demonstrated proficiency with project management tools and processes.

• Strong analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills 

• Ability to identify favorable business opportunities while mitigating risk to the organization  

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration and or other relevant field 

• PMP or equivalent certification 

• 7+ years Project Management experience with 5 years’ experience in a Telecoms environment

• Minimum of 3 years’ management experience with proven ability to present and liaise with the Senior Executive Level, line management and other stakeholders
