Espresso Machine Technician - Fixed Term

THE OPPORTUNITY​

As an Espresso Machine Technician, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the optimal performance and functionality of espresso machines for our valued customers. Beyond technical expertise, this role places a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty. 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on multiple brands of coffee equipment, primarily La Marzocco and Victoria Arduino espresso machines and Mahlkonig grinders. Also maintain and repair other coffee-ancillary equipment such as hot water boilers and brewers. 
• Good knowledge of the inner workings of café equipment including espresso machines, grinders, boilers and brewers.  

• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to come to the best solution, with
  customer satisfaction being paramount.  

• Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed. 

• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, clearly explaining technical issues and proposed solutions. 

• Managing time efficiently to ensure jobs are done on time and promptly.  

• Job will often be completed outside of regular office hours (9am – 5pm), where you will have the opportunity to take time back in lieu or overtime available. 
• Provide tips for extending the lifespan of espresso machines to customers through proper cleaning and care.
