OpenFX is on a mission to move money as freely as data, unrestricted by time zones, banking hours, or legacy systems. We are building the infrastructure that will power the next generation of cross-border payment systems for institutions.

The team’s execution has been exceptional and we are scaling at a remarkable pace. Our early team brings experience from J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, FalconX, PayPal, Affirm, Polygon, Kraken, Nium and others, and we are backed by Accel, Lightspeed, NFX and other top-tier investors.

We are looking for a Product Operations for Latin America to own how new currencies and corridors actually get to market across the region. Every currency we launch unlocks new corridors for our institutional clients and drives trading volume and revenue directly. Your mandate is to make that expansion happen on the ground: sourcing and onboarding liquidity providers, standing up settlement rails with banking partners, clearing jurisdiction-specific regulatory requirements, and holding every launch to the reliability bar our clients expect.

You will run the regional launch pipeline with real independence. You will own pricing inputs, sequencing and the go-live decision. You report to the Product Leader of Global Payments & Currencies, who sets strategic prioritisation for which currencies matter most based on payout corridor relevance. You own the how and the when.

If you have shipped cross-border payment products, worked with banking or card network infrastructure, or built API-driven financial products across jurisdictions, this role will feel familiar. The difference is that you will be doing it at the frontier of stablecoin-settled FX infrastructure, where the rails are new and the playbook is yours to write.

Responsibilities

  • Own corridor launch, end to end. You own every currency in your regional pipeline from Alpha through General Availability. You track liquidity partner onboarding, settlement rail readiness, regulatory clearance, operational setup and pricing. You run readiness reviews, maintain the launch checklist, and make the go/no-go call.
  • Operationalise our licences. Holding a licence and being able to use it are two different things. You work with Product Management, Legal and Regulatory, Compliance, Finance and Engineering to turn each licence, registration and partner permission into permitted product scope, documented operating procedures and live client flows. You keep what we are authorised to do and what we actually run in market in step, and you make sure new capability reaches clients as soon as the licence allows rather than months later.
  • Work directly with LPs and banking partners. You are the product voice in liquidity provider onboarding and banking partner discussions. You understand what it takes to stand up a new currency pair technically, what banking partners need in order to enable settlement, and how to translate partner constraints into product decisions.
  • Navigate multi-market regulatory complexity. Every currency carries jurisdiction-specific requirements. You work with Legal and Regulatory to establish what is needed, translate it into product and engineering decisions, and ensure no currency launches without clearance.
  • Prioritise engineering effort. You work with engineers to deliver against the roadmap. You write specs, set sprint priorities, and partner with your EM so capacity lands on the highest-impact currencies.
  • Drive post-launch adoption. A currency is not done at launch. You track whether clients are actually trading new corridors, partner with GTM to drive activation, find the friction, and feed what you learn back into prioritisation.
  • Build the regional launch playbook. You turn each launch into a repeatable, documented process covering every dependency, gate criterion and handoff, so the tenth currency is faster than the first.
  • 8+ years in product management, product operations or programme management. You have owned a complex, multi-dependency delivery process in a B2B or infrastructure product.
  • Cross-border payments or financial infrastructure context. You have worked on payments, FX, card networks or digital asset products.
  • Multi-market experience. You have shipped products across multiple countries or regulatory jurisdictions.
  • Comfort operating between product, legal and compliance. You can read a regulatory requirement, work out what it means for a product flow, and drive it to a decision without waiting to be told.
  • Operational rigour. You maintain systems that track complex, multi-dependency work. You build the checklist, follow up on the open item, and catch the gap before it becomes a blocker.
  • Based in Brazil, in São Paulo or remote, and fluent in Portuguese and English.
  • LatAm corridor knowledge. Experience with Brazilian and wider LatAm payment rails, regulatory environments or banking partner ecosystems. Spanish is a plus alongside Portuguese.
  • Licensing and regulatory delivery. You have helped operationalise a licence, registration or scheme membership, not just tracked one.
  • Card network or payment scheme background. Time at a card network, payment scheme or large-scale processor with multi-market product launches.
  • Stablecoin or digital asset rails. Familiarity with stablecoin settlement, on and off-ramp infrastructure, or crypto payment products.
