Surgery Scheduler

As a Surgery Scheduler at OPA you will greatly contribute to the team by ensuring patient surgical needs by working collaboratively to ensure patients are scheduled for surgical appointments.

• →Primarily works with surgeons, medical staff, and patients to obtain a surgery date and schedule all components of surgery
• →Answer patient calls and follow up with patients
• →Able to handle multiple interruptions during the day while maintaining a high volume of surgery orders

• You thrive in a fast-paced work environment and can handle multiple tasks at once
• You have outstanding customer service skills
• You consider compassionate, skillful patient care a top priority
• You work well in a team environment
• You have experience operating a personal computer using a variety of software applications
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High School diploma or equivalent

• One (1) year of clinical experience
• Ability to understand medical charts and diagnosis for billing purposes
• Experience using an electronic health records (EHR) software
