Pre-op/PACU Registered Nurse - Per Diem

As a Registered Nurse – Preop/PACU at OrthoAtlanta, you’ll:

• →Assess and monitor preoperative patients, obtain vital signs, review medical history, and ensure informed consent is complete
• →Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia, manage pain, and address any complications to ensure safe and comfortable recovery
• →Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner within the EMR
• →Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other staff to coordinate patient care and ensure a seamless surgical experience
• →Recognize and act on changes in patient condition, using independent clinical judgment and facility protocols to guide decisions

• Excel under pressure and maintain a calm, clear head in dynamic clinical situations
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and surgical teams
• Have excellent critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
• Bring a team-oriented attitude and prioritizes patient safety and comfort
• Value precision and detail in documentation and clinical execution

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in Georgia or compact state
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• 2 years of RN experience in Preop and/or PACU preferred

• Work in a state-of-the-art orthopedic surgery center
