As a Staffing Specialist Assistant for Outreach Health, you will play a vital role in supporting the recruitment and onboarding process by ensuring all new hire documentation is completed accurately and efficiently. This position reports to the Talent and HR Operations Specialist and works closely with the Staffing Specialist team to coordinate the onboarding experience, maintain compliance with hiring requirements, and serve as a point of contact for new hires during the pre-employment process.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the full application process, including processing all new hire documentation

including background checks. This process involves verifying the accurate completion of required

forms and maintaining organized records to support a smooth and compliant onboarding process.

• Provide candidates with clear guidance and technical support as needed.

• Process as well as stay current with all applicable state and federal regulations related to background

checks and E-Verify compliance.

• Collaborate closely with the Staffing Specialist to ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process.

• Maintain consistent and professional communication with candidates, utilizing follow-up strategies to

ensure forms are completed within agreed-upon timelines.

• Serve as a backup to the Staffing Specialists during absences or time out of the office. Responsibilities

include maintaining communication with candidates, scheduling interviews, processing onboarding

documentation, and ensuring that recruitment activities continue without interruption to meet hiring

timelines.

• This role will be contributing to a reduction in the downslist across all assigned regions. Success in

this area will be measured by a decrease in the number of uncovered clients, resulting in increased

utilization of hours.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Talent and HR Operations Specialist to support the success of

the Staffing Specialist team.

• Work with the marketing team to build content such as blogs and videos that are helpful in the recruiting and

sourcing processes

• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, with the ability to quickly learn company-specific

software systems.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to resolve problems effectively and interact professionally with diverse individuals.

• The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering a positive and seamless

onboarding experience

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may encounter light exertion in lifting, moving, and carrying

lightweight supplies and equipment. Must be able to work in a work environment that involves intermittent body

movements such as walking, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, sitting, and viewing monitor(s) for

extended periods. Duties involve application of skill requiring motor coordination, finger dexterity and strength in

hands/limbs for typing, filing, machine operation, and or a reasonable accommodation to perform required tasks. The

Nature of duties presents moderate exposure to infectious and chemical hazards or job-related accidental injury.

The Staffing Specialist Assistant is required to fully comply with applicable healthcare laws and statues (local, state,

and federal) and Outreach Health policies and procedures. Must respect clients by recognizing their rights;

maintaining confidentiality and work tirelessly to earn and keep their trust. Each team member is expected to perform

all duties and demonstrate behaviors and attitudes consistent with Outreach Health’s Mission Statement and Core
