Own the product strategy and multi-year roadmap for one or more pillars of the Core Platform (examples: extensibility, real-time events, and developer platform)
Partner deeply with engineering (Staff/Principal engineers) to define scalable, evolvable architectures that support massive scale and complexity
Translate complex technical constraints and opportunities into clear product requirements, roadmap prioritization, and key results
Define and maintain platform SLAs, success metrics, and health dashboards that matter to customers
Drive cross-functional alignment—work with other product leaders, marketing, sales, professional services to understand needs and sequence platform investments
Stay current on emerging technologies in AI infrastructure, real-time systems, distributed data processing, and enterprise SaaS platform design
Represent Outreach at industry events and with strategic customers when discussing platform architecture and AI capabilities
10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years owning developer-facing, infrastructure, or platform products (examples: API platforms, data platforms, workflow engines, AI/ML platforms, observability platforms)
Deep technical fluency — ability to read architecture diagrams, understand distributed systems trade-offs (consistency vs availability, eventual vs strong consistency), speak fluently about microservices, event-driven architecture, streaming (Kafka/Kinesis/etc.), API design (REST + gRPC), and scaling patterns
Prior experience shipping and scaling high-throughput SaaS platforms serving enterprise customers
Demonstrated success defining product strategy for shared platform capabilities that serve multiple product lines / internal customers
Excellent written and verbal communication — you can write crisp PRDs, and one-pagers, and present complex technical topics to executives, engineers, and customers alike
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior AI / ML experience — RAG Infrastructure, MCP orchestration, Knowledge fine tuning
Previous work on developer platforms, extensibility frameworks, low-code/no-code tools, or integration platforms
Background in revenue/sales tech, CRM-adjacent platforms, or go-to-market tooling
