Plant Manager

Manages the production and warehouse activities of a 200k sq' facility with approximately 100 employees to produce products meeting customer demand, quality standards, and on time in the most safe, efficient and effective way(s) possible using sales and delivery information; production schedules; changeovers; preventive maintenance; raw materials and production supplies; enforcing quality standards; maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP); and managing staff. Strong Continuous Improvement / Lean mindset with proven results a must.

• →Ensure direct reports are properly utilizing Oxco’s systems, technology, and policies and procedures. Provide training and/or performance feedback to ensure these obligations are met.
• →Exhibit leadership level decision-making, cross-functional teamwork, problem solving, and policy development. Adhere to Oxco mission, values, standards, policies and procedures. Proactively ensure personal awareness of policies before acting.
• →Develop direct reports and department members and hold team members accountable to Oxco standards. Provide meaningful interaction, coaching, and feedback to team members on a routine basis and during the one-on-one feedback cycle.
• →Initiate corrective action and recommend employment actions, in conjunction with the Vice President of Manufacturing and HR when situations warrant.
• →Establish expectations and provide coaching and guidance to production engineering responsible for improving equipment, reducing cycle times and standard cost
• →Responsible and authorized to implement programs to ensure compliance above and beyond OSHA requirements for workplace health and safety.

• →Other duties as assigned

• College degree (4 year) in business or textiles or equivalent experience

• 5 years’ experience managing a large, complex manufacturing department or plant
