GENERAL MANAGER REFRIGERATION

Provide overall management and strategic leadership of the Refrigeration and Service Division for operations. The role is responsible for driving growth, managing client relationships, overseeing project delivery, controlling department budgets, and ensuring compliance with PNG regulations and quality standards across all service operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and manage the Refrigeration/Service Division end to end Plan, develop and implement strategies for division growth Track project progress, costs, expenses and manage resources Oversee procurement of assets and materials Liaise with overseas commissioning agents for projects Ensure progress claims, invoicing and site meetings are handled on time Manage and develop direct reporting staff Conduct performance appraisals and manage HR activities Authorize purchase orders and creditor invoices Report regularly to the Group Services Manager Ensure full compliance with PNG law and standards Requirements Minimum Year 10 qualification (Refrigeration / Air Conditioning trade background preferred) 10+ years related experience in service or project management Trade Certificate in Refrigeration / Air Conditioning Experience in managing medium to large organisations Advanced computer literacy — MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Access Strong leadership, commercial awareness and communication skills Current Class 1 Driver's Licence Valid Police Clearance Medical Certificate of fitness Ability to work weekends and after hours when required Willingness to travel by air, land and sea to branch and project locations Benefits Competitive salary package commensurate with experience Leadership role with strategic responsibility Travel opportunities across PNG operations Professional development and growth within an established group Work with one of PNG's most experienced technical services companies
