Quality Control Technician

Paradigm in searching for a Quality Control Technician to play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations by performing quality inspections to ensure products meet required standards and specifications. Type: 6-month contract to hire Location: On-site, Hillsboro, OR Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life, 401K, PTO, and sick leave As a Quality Control Technician, you will: Follow the weekly production and shipping schedule as directed by the supervisor or team lead Verify all required documentation is received before beginning work Review and interpret assembly drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and work instructions Inspect SMT and through-hole assemblies in accordance with IPC-610 Class II & III standards Operate and program Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) and X-ray machines Conduct first article inspections Log inspection results and quality data into the company database Identify and communicate documentation discrepancies Requirements Our skills and experience wish list includes: High school diploma or GED; college coursework preferred Experience in manufacturing or electronics required Familiarity with IPC-610 standards Experience operating and programming AOI and X-ray machines Ability to read blueprints and use basic measuring tools Strong attention to detail and communication skills Ability to identify electronic components and part numbers Familiarity with ISO 9000 processes and LEAN methodologies Basic computer skills; proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred Benefits Paradigm offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, 401K, PTO, and sick days.
