Paragon is seeking an Electrical Technician I to join our team in our Fort Worth, Texas office! The Electrical Technician is responsible for performing tests and inspections of a wide variety of electrical components.

Responsibilities

→Perform functional testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide variety of complex electrical components
→Design, fabricate and implement test set ups to meet testing requirements
→Perform failure analysis of various components
→Perform fit, form, and function comparison analysis of replacement components
→Dedication/qualification of commercially available components for safety related applications in nuclear utilities
→Testing and troubleshooting with digital oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, wave generators and assorted test equipment necessary to perform assigned tasks
→Additional duties and tasks assigned by management

Requirements

High school diploma required
5 years of prior experience in manufacturing testing required
Must be able to communicate effectively across all functions the organization
Must have a high attention to detail with good documentation skills, and able to write legibly
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
Has an electrical and mechanical aptitude
Follow safety procedures
Has time management, organization, analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in basic computer skills. (File Organization, Email, etc.)
Proficiency in using the following equipment: Meters, Variacs, Power Supplies, Ductors, Megger, Hi-pot, Calipers, and tools
